What is Readcord?

We are a digital platform and marketplace for children’s picture books that provides users the tools to record themselves reading on their tablet or phone. After users are done recording, they can easily play back the recordings on their device and listen to their custom audio play over the pages of their electronic children's book.

How do you use Readcord?

Using Readcord is simple. Just download a book from our store (or upload photos your own books) and then record yourself reading the book page by page. Once you are done recording, simply press play and watch the pages turn while your audio recordings play over each page.

Is Readcord free?

We provide our users with a collection of free books and customizable books so that they are able to begin creating a Readcord Library without charge. Additional published books and customizable books are available in our in-app store.

Can I share my Readcord books with other accounts?

There is currently not a feature to share Readcord books between multiple accounts. We encourage creating a family account that the members of your family can share access to.

An account can be logged into from multiple devices around the world. For example, Grandma in California can log in and create a book for you to enjoy in New York.

Can I share the custom books I have in my Readcord Library?

Custom books created by you in your Readcord Library cannot be shared with other accounts.
